Recently, I was down at Dana Point Harbor, feeding the squirrels some peanuts. They loved what I gave them. After that, I was inspired to draw and paint a little squirrel coming up to a rose and smelling it. Usually, we see pictures of squirrels holding and chewing their nuts. So someone had given an idea about creating a squirrel being near any kind of rose flower. I've imagined a squirrel being curious about the scent of a rose and taking the chance to smell it.
