At one of the beaches in San Clemente, I saw a young woman wearing a tie-dye swim suit. The colors to me turned out to be very striking. I even gave the lady a nice compliment on her bathing suit. After that, I was inspired to create a butterfly based on those tie-dye colors. I'm happy for the the way this picture turned out.
